Purpose
North Smithfield Little League (NSLL) is a volunteer-run non-profit organization and a proud member of the North Smithfield community dedicated to fostering a positive environment where youth can develop character, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being. All participants, including players, coaches, parents, and spectators, are expected to uphold these values by following the NSLL Code of Conduct. NSLL currently offers the following baseball programs:
- T-Ball
Boys and girls ages 5-6. For first-year players. Typically one game and one practice each week.
- Minors/AA ("Coach Pitch")
Boys ages 6-9. One year of T-Ball experience preferred, no tryouts. Instructional, coach-pitch. One game and one practice per week.
- AAA ("Player Pitch")
Boys ages 8-11. This division is a competitive feeder division for Majors, with playoffs at the end of the season to determine a champion. Try-outs are held in March.
- Majors
Boys ages 10-12. This is a more competitive league. Players must tryout at evaluations in March and be drafted.
- Junior/Senior League
Boys ages 13-16. Interleague play with other towns.
NSLL utilizes Pacheco Park in partnership with the Town of North Smithfield.
